The City of Myrrine
The City of Myrrine is a pinnacle example of the power of the Venucian Empire. It stands proudly at the edge of the isle across the sea from it’s capital. With its beautiful architecture and stunning views, the city is bustling with shops and trade as the merchants and workers bring their wares for sale. Trade is strong here, harvesting from the ocean, mines and the farmlands carved out of the deforested areas that surround the stone pillars. Deep inside of the city sits the Chantry, a place of study and knowledge for those who seek answers and yearn for learning.
"Tufuiegoeris.... What you are, I was; What I am, you will be."
The City of Idoreth is an underground civilization created by the Isle's Cultist group Tolle Solis. It harbors murders, criminals, social outcasts, and exiles. Giving all these nefarious sorts a place to call home. The creation or creator of Tolle Solis is unknown, even by its current members, as the names of the Barons/Baronesses are usually kept hidden, along with most of the group's archives. What is known about the people that reign over Idoreth is that they are individuals that believe in a world without law. They are those who think that following one's truest desires is the real meaning of life and that those who ignore themselves are barely people at all. To pride yourself in obeying what another person deems acceptable is considered idiotic because no matter the choices a person makes in their life, everyone meet the same fate at some point or another. Those of Tolle Solis are devout worshippers of the Gods of Calamity and Idieris, who they refer to as the "True Gods". Those of the Empyrean are called the "False Gods." Due to this worship, The City of Idoreth and Tolle Solis, actively fund the Sacellum, which is located within the City's tunnel systems.
Once the rebels known as The Oathsworn, the Wardens are the remnants of past kingdoms and wars. A long history on the isle has had them become a legend across the waters of Lynnea as they are called upon by other countries and regions to handle monsters even the most experienced of homegrown hunters can not. Their reputation has honored them as vigilantes of Valesk and often take matters into their own hands when it comes to scenarios of the unusual and mythical kind.
The Conclave of Astreya
The Conclave of Astreya is a Magocratic society that studies, teaches, harnesses, and maintains the magic of Lynnea. With the use of the Paragons, Astreya's military of battle-casters, Rogue Mages and Reavers are pursued in order to revert them to their original state. Since Astreya's return to the Isle of Valesk, her citizens and Grand Magistrix strive to maintain the network of magic doorways discovered. As well, verifying the stability of the crystals and ley lines upon Astreya and across the Isle. This ensures that Astreya remains in her airborne status and the arcana around Valesk is monitored and recorded for the archives.
